Susana has long been known for her sense of humor in both professional and personal contexts. Her witty, goofy, and highly expressive style has inspired more than one friend to remark,
“You should be on Saturday Night Live!”
In 2016, Susana moved back home to Los Angeles, in part to realize her goal of trying stand-up comedy. Frequent business travel and the COVID-19 pandemic got in the way until 2023, when she had the privilege of studying with veteran comedienne Cathy Ladman.
That fall, she had her stand-up comedy debut at the Hollywood Improv, a renowned comedy club on Melrose Ave. which has launched the careers of many famous comics, and continues to be a sought-after venue for established talent.
